The imagery in each original work is non-objective and expresses concepts of light, color and emotion, often revolving around a harmony of shapes and rhythms. The media are particularly chosen to create a light, almost spiritual, atmosphere which evokes a feeling of space and soaring in which the viewer can participate.

The paintings are a combination of watercolor, acrylic airbrush, colored pencil and soft pastel on archival paper. The media are applied sequentially with each application accentuating the colors and textures of the earlier layers. This method creates a rich, vibrant color which is both deep and soft.
